Ruth Edwards-Spry BA(Hons)

If you’ve ever worked with Kemp, you’ve probably spoken to Ruth. Ruth has been with us since 2015, joining the company after university when she was looking for a career in a new direction. Although she initially interviewed for a utility surveyor position with no prior experience, she made such a strong impression that an office-based role was created specifically for her.

Now serving as Office Manager, Ruth plays a central role in the day-to-day running of Kemp. She is responsible for preparing and issuing quotations, scheduling works, producing RAMS, managing supplier questionnaires and overseeing the company’s compliance platforms, including Constructionline and CQMS. Her work ensures projects are organised, compliant and fully supported from enquiry through to delivery.

One of Ruth’s standout achievements was implementing traffic management organisation within the company, enabling Kemp to tender for larger and more complex projects. She also played a key role in securing Constructionline Gold and SMAS SSIP accreditations and recently achieved her NEBOSH certificate.

Outside of work, Ruth enjoys sea swimming, collecting sea glass and planning future travels to destinations such as Greece, Alaska and San Francisco.
