Kemp Supports Facility Upgrade

Kemp Chartered Land and Engineering Surveyors are proud to be working with Our client, The Bailey Partnership, to support planned upgrades at the Exeter Materials Reclamation Facility, which is a key site in the region’s waste management infrastructure.

So far, our team has carried out detailed surveys to capture both the building and surrounding site. Kieran completed a 3D laser scan of the interior and exterior, providing precise measurements for a detailed measured building survey. At the same time, Russell undertook a topographical survey of the facility’s exterior, mapping the site in full to ensure every detail is recorded.

The data collected will be used to create a comprehensive Revit model of the facility, including walls, windows (with skylights), doors, roofs, boilers, worktops, sinks, and toilets. Alongside the 3D model, traditional 2D floorplans, elevations, and sections will also be produced, offering the design team a complete suite of tools for planning and designing the upgrades.

Following on from this, Seeka will be on site to carry out a utility survey, giving a clear picture of the facility’s existing underground infrastructure and helping inform the next phase of works.

The combination of these surveys will allow our clients to move forwards with their upgrade plans.
