Kemp Supports Charity Fundraiser For Rare Disease Day

We were pleased to support the Rare Disease Day event at Illogan Park RFC, which aimed to shine a light on the many rare conditions that often go unrecognised or misunderstood.

More than 300 million people worldwide are living with what is classified as a rare disease, highlighting the importance of raising awareness and improving understanding.

The event brought the community together for a fun-filled day featuring rugby, football, face painting, toy sale stalls, raffles and information stands. Alongside the activities, the day focused on raising awareness of Rare Disease Day and the significant number of people affected by these conditions, helping to encourage greater knowledge and support for those living with rare diseases in the future.

Funds raised from the event supported three incredible charities: Duchenne UK, Little Hearts Matter and Children’s Hospice South West, all of which provide vital support to children and families living with serious and rare health conditions.
