We’re delighted to celebrate a fantastic achievement for one of our team, with Mark Hockaday officially achieving Chartered Surveyor status after gaining membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)!
Chartered status is internationally recognised as the benchmark for professionalism within the surveying industry. Achieving membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is a rigorous process, requiring candidates to demonstrate not only technical knowledge and practical experience, but also a commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards.
Mark joined Kemp over six years ago after discovering a passion for surveying while studying geology at university. Since then, he has worked across a wide variety of projects throughout the South West, building a wealth of experience in topographical, engineering and measured building surveys.
As well as delivering projects for clients, Mark also plays an important role within the business as our Training Mentor, supporting junior surveyors as they develop their skills and progress through their own careers. His willingness to share his knowledge and help others grow makes him an invaluable member of the team.
Achieving Chartered status is a testament to the hard work, dedication and professionalism Mark has shown throughout his career, and we’re incredibly proud to see him reach this milestone.
Congratulations, Mark – a thoroughly deserved achievement, and one we know is just another step in what promises to be an exciting career.
